Hearts abound

I love hearts. They are so much fun to quilt.  This quilt was done by machine, and was for my first granddaughter.  I love this quilt, and I actually used my favorite colors in it.  The border is done with an open heart design.

Froggys galore quilt

This is a quilt that I made for one of my friends grandsons.  The quilt is handquilted and I used 80/20 batting.  The 80/20 batting is a cotton/poly blend batting, and gives the quilt a little bit of puffiness.  In the squares, every other one has a little heart in it, and then in the center panel I quilted around the froggys.  This is a quilt that the little boy has loved.  It measures 45 x 60 so is a great size for a crib, fits on a toddler bed, or makes a great lap quilt size for grown ups.  I can also do this one as a machine quilted quilt.  I did this before I started learning machine quilting.

Why I love quilting

I love to quilt.  For me, it is a great stress reliever and I love the looks on people's faces when they get one of my quilts.  I will be listing quilts on here that I have made.  I will gladly do custom quilt orders.  One of the things that you have to remember about having a custom quilt made is that you are getting high quality and it will be much better than what you can buy at Walmart or Target.  All of the quilts I make are made with love.  This is my passion.  If you have any questions about having a quilt made, please send me an email to or  I will be doing more than just quilts.  I will also do table runners, place mats and hot pads, so if you need a great gift, just let me know.
